TRANSPORTATION
from CDG Airport to Downtown

Delta flights arrive at Terminal 2EF (see graphic at the bottom of this page).

Unless we want to dish out big euros for a taxi, we have two basic options:  TRAIN or BUS.  Both are easy, and members of our CIA team have had good experiences on both.  Both are explained below.

THE RER B TRAIN

The RER B train is the easiest way to travel into the city.  It goes to the Gare du Nord (North Station), which is a 10-minute walk from our hotel and the Gare de l'Est (East Station).

To take the RER B train,

  • In Terminal T2EF, find the RER Station.  Click here for a terminal map.

  • The ride costs €10.00 and takes 35 minutes.  Tickets are sold in the RER station.

  • Trains depart CDG for downtown Paris very often -- every 5 or 10 minutes.

    • Click here for the full weekday schedule from CDG into Paris.  (Click here for the full weekend schedule from Paris back to CDG.)

  • Paris-Gare du Nord is the 12th stop.  Here's the list of all stations.

  • Upon departing the RER station at Gare du Nord, find your way to street level.

    • The street in front of the station is Place Napoleón III

    • The side streets in the direction of the hotel are Rue de Dunkerque and Rue la Fayette.

  • Here's a walking map to the hotel.  Click here for an additional map and related info.

THE 350 BUS

To take the 350 Bus,

  • Click here for the PDF explaining the 350 Bus service.

  • In Terminal T2EF, find the RER Station.  According to the Bus 350 pamphlet, the bus stop is very close to it.  Click here for a terminal map.

  • The ride costs €6.00 and takes 60-80 minutes.  Tickets are sold in the RER station.

  • The bus departs CDG for downtown Paris fairly often -- every 15-30 minutes.  Click here for full schedule.

  • Here's a walking map to the hotel.  Click here for an additional map and related info.
